Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Clenio, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using and uninstall the App.

2. Service

Clenio provides on-device photo-library analysis to help identify similar photos, duplicate photos, screenshots, and large videos. You decide which items, if any, to remove. Scan and classification results are suggestions and are not guaranteed to be complete or error-free.

3. Photos Access and Your Responsibility

• Use the App only with media you are authorized to manage.
• You are responsible for reviewing selections and deciding whether to remove them. Clenio does not intentionally delete items without your confirmation.
• Removed items generally enter Recently Deleted in Apple Photos. Apple’s systems and services control recovery periods, permanent deletion, and iCloud synchronization.
• Clenio is not a backup service. Back up important content before cleanup.

4. Free Allowance

The current version offers non-subscribers a cumulative allowance to remove 20 items. The allowance counts individual photos or videos, not cleanup sessions. Usage is stored in the device Keychain and may remain after the App is uninstalled and reinstalled. We may adjust the allowance in future versions but will not retroactively charge for completed actions.

5. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Clenio offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. The price, currency, trial (if any), and available offers are those displayed by the App Store at purchase.

• Payment is charged by Apple to your Apple ID account after confirmation.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Deleting Clenio does not cancel a subscription.
• Use Restore Purchases on the subscription screen to restore an active entitlement for the same Apple ID.

Apple handles payment, cancellation, refund, and billing disputes under App Store rules. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, Clenio cannot directly refund payments collected by Apple.

6. Apple Standard EULA

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and is also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA on App Store licensing matters, the Standard EULA controls.

7. Permitted and Prohibited Use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Clenio on Apple devices you own or control. You may not use the App unlawfully, interfere with its operation, or copy, sell, rent, distribute, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits.

8. Intellectual Property

Rights in Clenio’s software, interface, branding, text, and related materials remain with their lawful owners. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you. Your photos and videos remain owned by you or their respective rights holders.

9. Changes and Termination

We may update, suspend, or modify the App for security, compatibility, product improvement, or legal compliance. You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. Uninstalling does not replace canceling an active subscription through your Apple ID.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clenio is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that all similar or duplicate content will be identified or that scan results will be error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for content loss caused by user selection, expiration of Recently Deleted, iCloud synchronization, device failure, or failure to keep a backup. Nothing here excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability.

11. Governing Rules and Disputes

Mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence continue to apply. If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can attempt to resolve it informally. This section does not limit any mandatory statutory jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when features, subscription offerings, or legal requirements change. The revised Terms will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the updated App indicates acceptance, except where applicable law requires separate consent.
