1. Who we are

This policy describes how VidShrink ("VidShrink," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the VidShrink iOS app and this legal website. You do not need to create an account to use the app.

2. Information handled by the app

Videos and photo-library access

You choose videos through Apple's system media picker. The app receives access only to the items you select. If a selected item is stored in iCloud, Apple's frameworks may download it to your device before VidShrink can process it.

Compression takes place locally on your device. VidShrink does not upload your source videos or compressed videos to a server operated by us. When you choose to save a result, the app requests add-only access to place that result in your Photos library.

Temporary files and retention

VidShrink creates local working copies and compressed output in the app's temporary storage. These files may remain until the app or iOS clears them, or until you delete the app and its data. Videos saved to Photos remain there until you delete them using Photos or another authorized app.

Purchases

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. VidShrink receives product and entitlement information needed to show available products and unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account details.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond, diagnose the issue, and maintain necessary support records. We retain it only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or legal obligations.

3. Information we do not collect

The current version of VidShrink does not include advertising, third-party analytics, third-party crash reporting, or cross-app tracking SDKs. We do not sell personal information or use your videos for advertising, profiling, or artificial-intelligence training.

4. Apple and other service providers

Apple provides Photos, iCloud media delivery, StoreKit, and App Store payment services. Apple's handling of information is governed by its own privacy terms.

This legal website is hosted with GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical data such as IP addresses and server logs to deliver and secure the site under the GitHub General Privacy Statement. The site stores your language choice in your browser's local storage; we do not receive that preference.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information contained in support communications when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to service providers acting on our instructions. The app's normal video-compression workflow does not send your videos to us.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information we handle. No device, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and backups.

7. Children

VidShrink is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information.

8. Your choices and rights

You control which videos you select and whether compressed results are saved. You can change Photos permissions in iOS Settings and manage or cancel purchases through your Apple account. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our handling of personal information. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify the request.

Deleting VidShrink removes app data stored in its container, subject to iOS behavior and your device backups. It does not delete videos that you previously saved to Photos.

9. International processing

If you contact us or visit this website, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on applicable legal safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the app when appropriate.

视频与照片权限

您通过 Apple 提供的系统媒体选择器选取视频，应用仅能访问您主动选择的项目。如果所选视频位于 iCloud，Apple 的系统框架可能会先将其下载到您的设备，VidShrink 才能进行处理。

视频压缩在您的设备本地完成。VidShrink 不会把原视频或压缩后的视频上传到我们运营的服务器。当您选择保存结果时，应用会请求“仅添加照片”权限，以便把结果写入您的照片图库。

临时文件与保留期限

VidShrink 会在应用的临时存储空间中创建本地工作副本和压缩结果。这些文件可能保留到应用或 iOS 将其清理，或者您删除应用及其数据。已保存到照片图库的视频会一直保留，直到您通过“照片”或其他获授权的应用将其删除。

购买信息

订阅和终身购买由 Apple 通过 App Store 处理。VidShrink 会接收展示商品和解锁 Pro 功能所需的商品及权益状态，但我们不会接收或保存您的完整银行卡或银行账户信息。

支持邮件

如果您向我们发送邮件，我们会收到您的邮箱地址及邮件中主动提供的信息，并仅用于回复、排查问题及保留必要的支持记录。除法律另有要求外，相关信息仅在实现这些目的所需的合理期限内保留。

3. 我们不收集的信息

VidShrink 当前版本不包含广告、第三方统计分析、第三方崩溃报告或跨应用跟踪 SDK。我们不会出售个人信息，也不会将您的视频用于广告、用户画像或人工智能训练。

4. Apple 与其他服务提供商

Apple 提供照片、iCloud 媒体传输、StoreKit 及 App Store 支付服务。Apple 对信息的处理受其自身隐私条款约束。

本法律网站由 GitHub Pages 托管。为了交付和保护网站，GitHub 可能依据其隐私声明处理 IP 地址、服务器日志等技术数据。网站会将您的语言选择保存在浏览器本地存储中，我们不会收到该偏好。

5. 共享与披露

我们不会出售或出租个人信息。在法律要求、保护权利和安全，或由服务提供商按我们的指示提供服务时，我们可能披露支持邮件中包含的信息。应用正常的视频压缩流程不会把您的视频发送给我们。

8. 您的选择与权利

您可以决定选择哪些视频以及是否保存压缩结果。您可在 iOS“设置”中更改照片权限，也可通过 Apple 账户管理或取消购买。根据您所在地区，您可能享有访问、更正、删除、限制或反对处理个人信息的权利。提出请求时请联系我们，我们可能需要验证请求身份。

删除 VidShrink 会移除应用容器中的数据，但仍受 iOS 行为及设备备份影响；这不会删除您此前保存到照片图库的视频。

9. 跨境处理

如果您联系我们或访问本网站，相关信息可能在您所在国家或地区之外处理。法律要求时，我们会采用适用的法律保障措施。

10. 政策更新
